Wood, wire, pigmented finish

At the beginning of my second year of graduate school, a new crop of colleagues joined the department. Three guys were trying hard to learn everybody’s names, which I appreciated. They developed a kind of mean little game for this: each person had a phrase that described them, which began with the first letter of their name and ended with the last letter. Mine was “Tightly Bound.” It took them like an hour to see into my soul. :/
